Coca Cola along with its Haitian partner, Cola Courrone, will invest in Haiti's mango industry with the creation of the new drink, Haiti Hope Mango Lime-Aid.The new juice drink will be available this year, 2010, and will help provide jobs to 25,000 mango farmers. Other organizations partnering with Coca Cola in the Hope for Haiti Project include the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Odwalla, and Technoserve. The project will provide Haiti with capital, technical assistance, research, and purchasing contracts. It will also encourage the planting of mango trees in Haiti for a sustainable mango industry.
